TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Rules and Procedures

Teams will consist of 1 adult and 1 youth (under age 22 as of August 1, 2007 and must not have bowled in adult league).  Games will be 9pin no-tap, baker style format. Adult will start every game bowling odd frames (1, 3, 5, 7, and 9); Youth will bowl even frames (2, 4, 6, 8, and 10).

Level 1:  Each team will bowl a 3-game block of qualifying games.  Based on qualifying scores, a minimum of 30% will advance to the next round and receive $25 scholarship.  Total scores will be carried forward to the second round.

Level 2:  This round will consist of a 1 game randomly assigned, head-to-head, match play.  The winner of the match receives an additional 40 bonus points.  The top 5 cumulative scores will advance to the final round.

Level 3:  The final round will consist of a 1 game elimination stepladder.  Each team reaching the final round will receive a trophy/plaque and scholarship money.  The 4th, and 5th place bowling first; then winner bowling 3rd place; then winner bowling 2nd place; then winner bowling 1st place.

Late bowlers will receive a zero for all frames missed.  A frame will be considered missed when a bowler is not at his/her assigned lane ready to bowl.
